A religion revolving around human sacrifice, child sacrifice as in Abraham and his son, animal sacrifice as in burnt offerings and slaughtering lambs, who's most beloved figure was a convicted, death row, prisoner executed by the state, and who was born out of the non consensual impregnation and adultery of a god with a married woman. I mean, the whole point of reading scriptures in church, is to "explain" each passage of the bible because if you read it without "explanation" you would see how horrible and crazy it is and you'd renounce it. It's akin to reading Stephen King's "It" and explaining that Pennywise didn't really want to eat the children, that when he said we all float down here, he just wanted to be their friend and lift them up. People become so indoctrinated to all of the sickening and ridiculous things in their religion, that something that should be horrifying to them, just feels normal.

Christian before and after watching this. You don’t know how God judges. All children are for the Lord. You have free will to believe what you want, it’s your choice. I watched the whole thing and I am Christian. His issue is not Christianity. His issue is that misteachings in theology cause ignorance in Christians. I grew up in an environment of mistaught theology. This man is not some "evil blasphemous monster." He is just hurt. You can hear it in his voice. He is hurt by the failures of those who are supposed to guide him in a Christ-like way.
